Resolved Region / State problem

When the module is enabled and a valid VAT number is entered, it fills in the data and the Region / State field becomes unavailable and therefore it is not possible to proceed further and place an order.

Which version are you using of the Extension?
On which page is this issue?

Thanks for your reply:
Which version are you using of the Extension? - ocmod v2.89
On which page is this issue? - Checkout page 2 step, when I put for example any working VAT code, it fills all details, but State/Region is empty and this prevents us from moving to next checkout step. (anyway, you can enable module and try to place order with VAT number, will be problem :) )

Now module is disabled, you can try to enable it and will see the problem

Hi

I have enabled the extension (also installed latest version) and in the checkout I can select state after entering vat number, see attachment. Maybe the new version helped with the issue, I know a small issue with field becoming readonly after entering vat number.

Was is the issue in your case, is the state list empty or has the wrong list, or is readonly?

Now, it is working, but now I have problem with step 3, a can not go to step 4 show error, please see attached screenshot

Now, when I am trying to make order like Quest, error on second step
I have now disabled the module so that customers can place orders, please enable it yourself.

Disabling the module kept the error, apparently the problem is somewhere in the ocmod.xml files and there is a conflict, because only if you disable them too, then everything starts working as before.

I have seen the error popup now, from step 2 into step 3.
Issue is solved. Problem was in the DPD parcel where some lines comment out, containing $this->config->get('config_tax')) caused issue with my modifications.

I fixed in a small thing in system\owc_euvat.ocmod.xml at line 792.

In a new release this change will be in it.

One small bag, if I put in payment method VAT code, but inshipping country I use store locations country (my case Latvia) it still show in checkout 6 step and 4 step (delivery step) - Reverse charge - VAT exempt:

And if the delivery is to the country of the shop, VAT reverse charge should not apply. :)

Yes, work. But now I have one more problem, I have client in Lithuania with valid VAT code LT100008010710

On checkout it shows that VAT valid, bit do not fill any details. An din error.log I have this error:

Try again, vat number parsing for LT is now the same as LV instead of default parsing address data from Vies.

Hi

Issue order edit solved. Problem was file catalog/controller/api/payment.php, I removed already commented code 72. Made a backup copy.
Also just found on my website, when editing the order it checkes city length not longer then 32 characters, and that must be 128. I have changed this in catalog/controller/api/payment.php and shipping.php hardcoded.

Warning Undefined offset also soved and installed the new version.
